Design Team for 2009 are:

Hi, I am Yvette aka spgettie, from the inland city of Palmerston North. I have a wonderfully supportive, scrapbook widow, Steve and 2 photographic victims, I mean children, Tobyn 10, very unwilling photographic subject and Isaac, 3, willing photographic subject with the cheesy grin.

 Like a lot of scrap bookers I was first introduced to it at a ‘party’ I loved the idea of giving my photos more of a story. Photography had been a passion of mine for quite a few years and I thought what a fantastic idea to highlight my photography in an arty way. Well, that layout got thrown out when we moved to the States, I didn’t think I would do anything more with it because it was very costly in New Zealand at the time. While in the States I was introduced to it again and then I couldn’t stop. We came back to New Zealand in 2006 and my passion grew. I have been lucky enough to have been published in up2scrap a couple of times and now I am here to help inspire my fellow scrap booker’s and card makers.

I love to ‘play’ with product. I like layers, dimension, ribbon, doodling and cutting out. And just about anything else I could try. With a house full of boy’s, my layouts tend to be more masculine with the odd niece and page about me thrown in. I like to get the hidden story, the story you wouldn’t think of by just looking at the photo. Journaling is very important on my layouts, even if it is just a few words, but I need something to complete the story.

 I hope that I can inspire others with my ‘art’ and I look forward to the next year with Stampin’Scrap Chch.
